Mels is a twenty eight year old Métis Canadian female who prefers female pronouns, is trying to figure out her sexuality, is extremely fannish and writes a lot, mainly fanfic, although there are original works produced as well. Likes a lot of different fandoms, is particular about her westerns, loves to bake, is learning to cook, loves animals, big or small, tame or wild (but of course has a healthy respect for the wild ones), is getting into cosplay and conventions, and shares a first name, although there is a one letter difference, with Jane Seymour's character on Doctor Quinn, Medicine Woman.
